Every time I saw the photograph of my dog, Snowy, I would sob and sobbed. She was my best dog ever! She died because I did not take good care of her. She was hit by a speeding auburn car. It happened nine months ago. It happened like this……
“Ring…” goes the bell. Everyone rushed to the canteen. As usual, I did not eat but stood at a corner watching the cars driving across the road. Suddenly, I saw a dog crossing the road. I looked closely and found out that it was my beloved dog, Snowy! I was really shocked. I ran out of the school to stop Snowy.
But, it was too late. “Bang!” Snowy was hit by a auburn colored car. I was shocked. I saw the car number plate. After that I carried the dead body to the side of the road. Tears welled up in my eyes. No words can express my agony. I whined to myself, “Why haven’t I taken good care of her?”
After that, I quickly took Snowy to the vet. I also called the police. After a few minutes, they arrived. I told them everything I knew. They took me to the police station to take my statement. I returned to the vet, but the life of Snowy is gone. With a heavy heart, I left the vet.
After five days, the driver of the car was caught. He was in jailed for two years. He could not drive any cars forever. I hope none of the people will speed again.
