31st October 2008I went out with my seniors:D
Hi there! It’s me again. Today, I went out with my seniors. We had lunch together. We meet each other at Compass Point at 1:00pm. When I reached there, it was only 12:38pm. So, I went to the Sengkang Library first to use the computer. At around 12:54pm, I SMS to Pei Si and said that I had arrived at the Compass Point. She told me that they had just finished their lesson and was coming here. She also told me that I had to wait for them for a while. So, I continued to use the computer. After around fifteen minutes, Alexia called me. She told me that Ronda had already reached there too and she is at the Long John Silver. After answering the phone, I immediately went there. It was easy to find her. She was sitting near the entrance. I then sit opposite her. We chatted for a while. She told me that she cannot find a table that is enough for six people. Then I knew that six people were coming. After a while, Alexia and Pei Si came. I thought that Givon was coming. But, I didn’t see her at all. After that, Sylvia, Poh Yee, and another girl came. All three of them were from the Junior College. Sylvia was also a trombonist. Poh Yee was a percussionist. After that, we changed place to have our lunch.
We went to Subway to have our lunch. I had a turkey ham with lettuce, cheese, tomato and others. Ronda told me not to but a set meal. She said that she can’t drink so much drink, so she is sharing with me. I just ordered like that it is $5.90. A set meal is $10. A set meal contained a sandwich, two large cookies and one large cup of drink. We can refill the type of drink ourselves. Ronda chose the mints cookies. We sat two tables. I sat beside Ronda. My opposite was Alexia and Pei Si. The other three sat at the other table. Pei Si and Alexia was super hyper. They were kept talking the people in the movie “篮球火”. Then, a group of Secondary 3 boys came. I think they are in the same class as Alexia and Pei Si. Then another two girls, who Alexia and Pei Si knew, intentionally go to that boy and tell him that Alexia was sitting here. -_- Ronda gave me one of the cookies. She said that she is too full to eat. :D
After that, we went outside the MRT to wait for another girl. After that, we walked to the school. It was around 2:30pm when I reached there. I went into the room and greeted Mr. Png. Then, I went to revise my theory. Masie and Vanessa were shocked to find me there as I do not need to come for Band today. But, I knew that my music theory wasn’t very good. So, I just went there to practice more. But, after a while, Darren gave out the test papers for us to do. It was the same paper we had last time. I tried to answer every question as best as I could. While we were doing the paper, the senior was practicing a piece that they were going to play when they are going to the competition at Genting. At 4:15pm, we passed up the paper to Darren.
Anyway, tomorrow we are having the Grade 3 Music Theory Examination. The seniors will have to come to school too as they are having performance for the School Open House. They will play a piece called the “Sherk’s Dance Party”. It is quite a nice piece. We will be meeting each other at outside 7-11 of Compass Point. Verna, Pei Shan, Si Xuan, and Chin Bee will be accompanying us. The Music Theory Examination will start at 10:00am and end at 11:30am. This test is to raise the level of music appreciation in us. The understanding and mastery of music theory will greatly enhance music reading and understanding. This will boost our performance on our instruments and give us greater confidence during performance. Okay, that’s all. Remember to look out for my next post!!!

Hi there! It’s me again! Today is my birthday! Yeah! Happy 13th birthday to myself and happy birthday in October! I wish myself health and happiness forever and ever. May all my dreams come true! Yeah! :D
Anyway, today I had CCA today, which is bad! Even worse, I had a Grade 3 Theory test. When I reached there, the Band Room was not open yet. So, everyone was standing outside. Mr. Png, our conductor, was already there. When I had reached there, the people there were all Secondary 1. All the others seniors had not arrived yet. Because today is my birthday, I gave some chocolates to others. I wanted to give some chocolates to Qian Xin, Maisie, and Vanessa. But, all of them did not eat chocolates. After a while, some of the Secondary twos, like Chin Bee and Si Xuan, came. So, I gave Chin Bee and Si Xuan five chocolates each. After that, Chin Bee said a thank you and went on to join her other friends. Then, Si Xuan asked me why I am giving out chocolates today. I then told her that today was my birthday. She immediately wished me happy birthday. Then, Chin Bee heard it and ran back very fast to wish me happy birthday. I was shocked. She needn’t run so fast right?

After that, Mr. Png gave out the entry proof for the Grade 3 Theory Test we are taking this Saturday. It is by the “Associated Board of the Schools of Royal Music”, which is a world class music board. We will be taking the examinations at the Level 4, Pine 1 of the Singapore Accountancy Academy. The address of it is ’20 Adjunied Rd, CPA House, Singapore 389805’. The examination will start at 10:00. My desk/seat number is 141. The paper is one hour and thirty minutes. We should be there at least ten minutes before the appointed time.
As I had told you, I had a theory test today. Guess how many marks I had gotten? I had gotten 85/100! Finally I had passed the test. Actually, I had failed for almost every time. I had also passed another test which I had gotten 72/100. Anyway, just for your information, the passing mark is 66 marks. Yeah! I did not need to come for Band this Friday. Those people who had gotten less than 80 marks had to go to “remedial” on Friday.
Anyway, some of my friends had wished happy birthday. I would only name some of them. They are Pei Ying, See Hui, Hui Luan, Chin Bee, Si Xuan, Maisie, Amabel, Kennard, Sherrie, Sharmaine， STAR ,Geolin ,MINDYand others. 谢谢!

Monday, October 27, 2008Hi there! It’s me again. Yeah! I have promoted to the Secondary 2 Express! You know that the holiday had just started. So, here is the plan of what I am going to do in this really long holiday. Okay, below is the homework that I had for this holiday. I need to do two book reviews, two comprehensions, 两个报章读后感and a Chinese composition about one thing I had done during the holidays. Beside all those work, sometimes, my CCA also gave me some “homework” for me. You must be curious what homework is it, right? As you know, I will be having the Grade 3 Theory Test on the 1st November which is coming very soon. To be more specific, the day that I will be having the Grade 3 Theory Test on next Saturday which is also the day my school is having the School Open House. Ahh.... I still need to go back to school on my birthday. There is a theory test that day. :'( Okay, let get back to the homework given. Actually, all of the “homework” is theory papers. I had done two theory papers, but I still had two more to do. Hiaxx…
Anyway, on 23rd October, it is the whole day of fun for Secondary 1 to 3. Every level had a different thing to do. For Secondary One, it is the CARE DAY on that day. The purpose of this is to allow us to experience the joy of contributing to the less privileged children in our society. We are helping the children at “Child at Street 11”. It is a multi-racial, secular, independent, non-profit organization dedicated to helping children from low income and dysfunctional families by providing quality early childhood education. It serves children aged two too sic through their full day programme. We will form into group of six. But, for my group, we had 7 people. The people in my group are Hui Ni, Jia Lin, Hui Yang, Jing Long, Alan, and Shi Jie. Every group has to decorate a paper carrier which will be filled by instant noodles.
Anyway, I want to thanks Pei Ying for giving me the birthday card. She is one of the earlier people to wish me happy birthday! (: Got to go now, Bye Bye!

Today is the E-learning Day:D
Hi there! It's me agian!
Today is the E-learning Day. About the project that we needed to do for this E-learning Day, the deadline of it is extended to 6p.m. today. So, those people who had not finish their work, hurry up!
Just for your information, I will tell you what each student in the group is needed to do. the 1st student need to do about Combat Inflation, the second student had to do about Effective Cooling System, the third student need to do about Harnessing Useful Energy while the fourth student will do on Environmentally Friendly Home. After you all had done your work, sent the work to your group leader.
The group leader will then sent it to this address: nchs_1f@hotmail.com. Everyone need to sent a e-mail of your name, class, register number and your group to this address for attendance. Attendance is counted.All the documents that are needed in your project is available in http://educhua.net/nchs_sec1. After doing, you all need to do a survey on 'My Personal IT profile 2008'. It is at the My Portal page. Then scroll down and you will see the words 'My Personal IT profile 2008' and click it. You will reach there and click respond to this survey.
Anyway, there is also another maths and science quiz in the 'My Assignments'. So, remember to attempt it.
Actually, I had finish my part really early. but, I need to wait for my other group members to finish. everyone had finish it by now. As the group leader, I had to wait for every group memebers to finish their thing. just now, Dr. Chua just gave me a bun. She kinda praised me. Yeah! anyway, she told me to go home first. after that, I pass the thing to Mr. See tomorrow. GTG BB!

Today is promotion day:D
Hi there everyone! Today is promotion day, so I do not have school today. Anyway, exams are finally over. I had nothing much to post so I just post some games to let you all relax after the examinations. (:

Friday, October 17, 2008Hi there! It is me again! Today, we had went home early. We had returned home at 11am which is quite early. But, actually, also nothing to do much at school after the exams. The teachers just go through the exams paper, check the marks and just have some of the post exam activities. But, we didn't even have any of the post exams activities even though they said there will be some of the fun activities. Anyway, we had know some of our results for our examinations.

Hi there! It’s me again! Finally, today is the last day of the End of Year Examination (EOY)! I am so happy about it. Wouldn’t you be happy if you were me? Do you know what it is means when the End of Year Examination? It means that the whole year is over! There are no more tests for this whole year anymore. What we are left to do is to wait for the results to come out and the long two months holidays! I just can’t wait for the long holidays to come! Do you know that this holiday is much longer than the holidays in the primary school? Isn’t that great? Anyway, I had two exams, just for your information. I had the Mathematics Paper 2 and the PE Exams today. Okay, let me tell you more about the two exams in the next paragraph.
We had our Mathematics Paper 2 first today. The Mathematics Paper 2 is one and a half hour long. The whole paper had fifteen pages. For the section A, we had to answer all the questions in it. But, for the Section B, there are two questions only. But, we only need to answer one question for the Section B. Actually, the questions in the Mathematics Paper 2 are not considered very hard or very easy. Some of the questions are a little bit hard while some of the questions are considered very easy to me. Actually, there is not much thing to say about the Section A, so I will just move on to the Section B, which I had a little bit of things to tell you all. As you know there is two questions right which is Question 9 and 10. Actually, I was actually a better in the pattern than in the graph. That doesn’t mean that I am not good in graph, so please don't misunderstand me! (: Question 9 was on the pattern while the Question 10 is on the graph. As you know, I will choose Question 9. But, as I will do the second part of the Question 9, I found a big problem. I didn’t know how to do that part no matter how I tried and tried. Finally, I gave up. I erase all the answer of the first part of that question and also leave the second part blank. Then, I took the other option which is to do the graph question. Luckily, all the part of that question, I knew how to do. I hope I will get the gradient of the graph correct as I am not really good at that. I had just guessed it. But, I think that I will get it correct as Pei Ying and Alicia had the same answer as me.
Ha ha! Finally can relax myself. :) Long time didn't come to my own blog. Must study hard for the End of Year Examination (EOY) . Just went to my blog and found that I had not replied the tag! So, I replied now!!!

Saturday, October 4, 2008Hi there! It's me again! It's me again. I had just returned from the Punggol Park. Can you guess what did I there? Okay, let you guess... Anyway, I had just went there to exercise. Actually, I went there to exercise every Saturday. Okay, let me tell you what I had done today.Anyway, today, I went to the Punggol Park at around 9am. I exercise until now. When I reached there, I went there I cycled there for 8 rounds. After I played badminton with my mother for a really long time. I really had a lot of fun and I like it very much. Today I also saw a bird which is very cute. But, the sound that bird is very special and nice. :) After that, I went to play skipping rope.
Anyway, our school had the first IT day on 21st October. The objectives of the IT Day are to allow us to learn independently and collaboratively, to equip us with life-long learning skills and to use technology as one of the tools to learn and communicate with others. For Secondary 1 , we need to do a Mathematics and Science integrated curriculum project. We need to do a group of 3.
Anyway, I had music Grade 3 theory test on the 1st November. It is the understanding and mastery of music theory will greatly enhance music theory will greatly enhance music reading and understanding. This will help to boost our performance on our instruments and give them greater confidence during performances. I need to pay $85 for this. It is very expensive lor. So, I need to study hard and get good results and at least pass right? :)
