A Mini Class Project!
It all started one day, Madam Nooraini, my form teacher, gave my class an assignment to do. It was a technology project. The topic was ‘Pod casting’.
The mini project is in conjunction with the aim of integrating technology as a tool for teaching and learning. It is a platform for us to improve our written and communication using audio media. The project allows us to be exposed to current technologies and how we can make use of it efficiently in education.
In this project, we had learned how to use mp3 players, set up a blog, upload as well as download audio files. The most important skills we had learned were to write and communicate (speaking and listening) in the English Language efficiently.
I think this project is very fun and enjoyable. My class and I will also look forward to go to the computer lab. In this project, we had improved in our English Language, especially the oral. We record our oral practice then we listen to it. Then we gave ourselves the marks. After that, Madam Nooraini bought us to the computer lab; we will download our recordings to the computer. After that we upload to the lead website: www.lead.com.sg which we will put it in our posts. The project is fun as some of the voices are great and some of them sound funny. We also had a competition which is seeing that which blog is the nicest.
A few days later, the results were out. My blog turned out to be the best one. The second goes to Grace Yeo. The prize is a 1 GB thumb drive and it was beyond my expectation. I got the prize today! I wish that there are more of these projects. Remember after reading; please give me some comments to improve!
