Prize Giving Ceremony 2007
Yesterday was the Prize Giving Day! It is the 12th Annual Prize Giving Day. I am really happy. Now, I’ll tell you what happened on that day.
We, the prize-winners needed to reach the hall at 7.30a.m. Even though it only start at 9a.m. I reached the school at 7.20a.m. I found that Zefris, See Hui and Ying Ying had already reached there and was waiting for Mdm Lee to come. I went to join them. We waited for a while and finally we can go in to the hall. But, there was a problem. We didn’t know where to sit. But, luckily some of the teachers arranged us. Anyway, the first is me, second is KH and third is Zefris. We waited for a while and some of the prize-winners’ parents had reached the school and found their seats. Then, there were some shows. After that, it is the opening address by our principal, Miss Chua. Then, it is the Prize Giving Ceremony given to all the Prize winners, Parents-School-Support-Groups, Voluntary Adult Leaders, 10-years Service to the School Awards and the Retirees. I received the prize from the Guest of Honour: Mr. Steven Tan, Chairman and School Advisory Committee. Then, it is the valediction made by the head prefect. After that, we sang the school song. Then, it is the Tea Reception time! The food was delicious! After eating, I went to find Mr. Yap, Mr. Tan, Miss Ling, Miss Chua, Mdm Aishah, Mr. Kamil and Mdm Tang to take photos with them and ask whether they could write in my ‘A’ book. And they all wrote! I also take photos with Mdm Noraini and陈老师. Okay, that’s about what happened on that day, bye!
