Hi there everyone! It’s me once again!!! Today we had our Cross-Country which means that we had to run 3km today!!! For the Cross-Country, we had to run at the Bishan Park.
When we reached the school, I drank lots and lots of water as I am afraid that while running I will feel thirsty. You can’t bring a water bottle with you while you are running right? Anyway, as I had told you that the Secondary 1 is running as the second batch, it was better. The first batch which is the Secondary 4 and 5 went to Bishan Park right after the assembly. The others put their bags at their classroom. After that, we went to the hall. Yeah! There are air-conditional there and it is so cooling. But, that’s not so long though. After a while, it is our time to go to Bishan Park. We went to the front gate to wait for the bus to come. My class was separated into two small buses. The first buses had most of the boys there. Mr. See was with us in the second bus. That’s bad as he kept taking his camera out to take our photos. But, he failed! Ha! We were too clever and fast! When we just got in the bus, Mr. See told us to fasten our seatbelts as the bus is moving. Then, we ask him where the seatbelts are! :D Anyway, I sat with Hui Ni in the bus. We were all hoping that there would be a traffic jam and raining. But, not all of our wishes fulfilled. There was a traffic jam, but there was still no raining and we still need to run. Wahhh… Hiaxx… When we reached there, we find the other half of our class. Finally, we found them. We sat down and waited for the other Secondary 1 classes to arrive.
Very soon, all of them arrive. Then, we sat there and listen to what Mr. Raffi, Mr. Ong (our principal), and Miss Toh had to say. Then, the Secondary 1 boys started running first. Once, they had cleared the starting point. It was our time to start running. At first, I was in the middle of the group. I wanted to catch up, but, my left ankle start to be painful. But, At least I will still finish the race. There was 2 basketball girls and form teacher from 1C. They are always encouraging us. The form teacher from 1C was very funny. She said, “You all not need to run if you are tired. Just walk fast. You see, I am so old already. You all must be faster than me. Remember, a crazy teacher is behind you. So, better walk fast! Haha! Anyway, I ran with some of my friends from 1A and 1H. But, finally, I reached the ending point. Yeah! I am so happy. It was really fun, but tiring. It was not as hard as I thought. Anyway, Hui Ni felt a headache after running and half way of the running.
Sara got 1st! Yeah! A lot of my classmates got the Top 60!
