Today is Labour Day. Wish everyone had a wonderful day and relax by reading these poems.

Poems Time
Gift for us
Love:
Shower us with love
It is the most beautiful gift.
Give us lots of affection
And see the positive reactions

Happiness:
Bring a smile on our faces
See us crawl with delightful grace
We always bring happiness
So put them in your heart first

Hugs:
A hug each day
Will help us grow in many ways
Hugs build a beautiful bond between us and our parents
And the joy it brings will be so apparent

Learning:
Encourage creativity at a tender age
Guide us at every stage
Teach us how to read and write
And our futures will be very bright

People
People are not born the same
Many come from different cultures
And have different names
Some lives in Europe where it is colder
Some live in Asia where it is hotter

We all have two ears and two eyes
The French like to eat bread
And the Chinese staple food is rice
The Japanese ladies wear kimonos
The Indian ladies wear sarees
And they cook delicious curries

In Singapore, we have many races living happily together
The Chinese, Malays, Indians and Eurasians
Treat each other like brothers
And over the years, have built healthy relations
We have enjoyed racial harmony for years
And we welcome people from other countries without fear

Flowers
Flowers come in many colours and shades
Likes flowers, people are differently made
Europeans have blond or brown hair
Some are dark, some are fair
But like flowers in a bouquet
We look pretty if all races come together
So united, as one people
We must always stay

punggol primary school is my favourite school
Usually,my friends and teachers are very good to me too
Not only are they friendly, they are also very kind and helpful
Genuinely, I really love this school very much
Genuinely also, I love all my teachers and my P6 class as much too
Overall, I have quite a number of trustworthy and good friends in school and class
Lively and lovable as they are, they cheer me up when I feel down or low

Prepared to sacrifice their recess breaks for me
Really make me feel that I am so blessed to have such true friends
In class or wherever we are, we help and encourage one another
May it be rainy or sunny days, we are always there for each other
And to sum it up all, I hope that we will not lose contact
Really, we still keep in touch with each other now,only lesser
Yes, and sometimes, we will go shopping together

Sadly, we are not in the same schools now
Coz if we are, we will be even closer to each other
However, I am already contented enough to keep in touch with them
Of course, now we have new friends made,but
Oh, how I wish we can still remain as best friends forever
Lastly, I would like to wish all my friends good luck for the coming mid-year examinations
