+ The metal window grills beside the corridor of your classroom need to be replaced. Your group of four members has been appointed as contractors by the school to replace the metal window grills of your classroom.
+ Note: Only the metal window grills beside the classroom corridor need to be replaced.
- Tasks
+ You are tasked to
> Find out the total length of metal needed to replace the corridor windows grills. In your working and calculation, include the following;
>> Describe, in detail, the method you used to measure the total length of metal grills.
>> Show all essential workings that were used to calculate the length.
> Provide the school with a quotation of the replacement cost of the window grills for your classroom.
> For task 1, your group will use any application (eg. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint) to present your description and calculation. For task 2, your group will use Microsoft Excel to present the quotation. The soft copy of the sample template can be downloaded from Ncelz.
- Additional Information
+ The cost of metal is $10 per meter.
+ The total labour cost is $15 per hour for one worker.
