31st October 2008I went out with my seniors:D
Hi there! It’s me again. Today, I went out with my seniors. We had lunch together. We meet each other at Compass Point at 1:00pm. When I reached there, it was only 12:38pm. So, I went to the Sengkang Library first to use the computer. At around 12:54pm, I SMS to Pei Si and said that I had arrived at the Compass Point. She told me that they had just finished their lesson and was coming here. She also told me that I had to wait for them for a while. So, I continued to use the computer. After around fifteen minutes, Alexia called me. She told me that Ronda had already reached there too and she is at the Long John Silver. After answering the phone, I immediately went there. It was easy to find her. She was sitting near the entrance. I then sit opposite her. We chatted for a while. She told me that she cannot find a table that is enough for six people. Then I knew that six people were coming. After a while, Alexia and Pei Si came. I thought that Givon was coming. But, I didn’t see her at all. After that, Sylvia, Poh Yee, and another girl came. All three of them were from the Junior College. Sylvia was also a trombonist. Poh Yee was a percussionist. After that, we changed place to have our lunch.
We went to Subway to have our lunch. I had a turkey ham with lettuce, cheese, tomato and others. Ronda told me not to but a set meal. She said that she can’t drink so much drink, so she is sharing with me. I just ordered like that it is $5.90. A set meal is $10. A set meal contained a sandwich, two large cookies and one large cup of drink. We can refill the type of drink ourselves. Ronda chose the mints cookies. We sat two tables. I sat beside Ronda. My opposite was Alexia and Pei Si. The other three sat at the other table. Pei Si and Alexia was super hyper. They were kept talking the people in the movie “篮球火”. Then, a group of Secondary 3 boys came. I think they are in the same class as Alexia and Pei Si. Then another two girls, who Alexia and Pei Si knew, intentionally go to that boy and tell him that Alexia was sitting here. -_- Ronda gave me one of the cookies. She said that she is too full to eat. :D
After that, we went outside the MRT to wait for another girl. After that, we walked to the school. It was around 2:30pm when I reached there. I went into the room and greeted Mr. Png. Then, I went to revise my theory. Masie and Vanessa were shocked to find me there as I do not need to come for Band today. But, I knew that my music theory wasn’t very good. So, I just went there to practice more. But, after a while, Darren gave out the test papers for us to do. It was the same paper we had last time. I tried to answer every question as best as I could. While we were doing the paper, the senior was practicing a piece that they were going to play when they are going to the competition at Genting. At 4:15pm, we passed up the paper to Darren.
Anyway, tomorrow we are having the Grade 3 Music Theory Examination. The seniors will have to come to school too as they are having performance for the School Open House. They will play a piece called the “Sherk’s Dance Party”. It is quite a nice piece. We will be meeting each other at outside 7-11 of Compass Point. Verna, Pei Shan, Si Xuan, and Chin Bee will be accompanying us. The Music Theory Examination will start at 10:00am and end at 11:30am. This test is to raise the level of music appreciation in us. The understanding and mastery of music theory will greatly enhance music reading and understanding. This will boost our performance on our instruments and give us greater confidence during performance. Okay, that’s all. Remember to look out for my next post!!!
