Hi there! It's me again! Today we had the last practice of the year 2008! Yeah! I am so happy about it. Actually, we are supposed to do the marching video for the next year SYF. It is just for the participation needed. We thought that we need to march too. While marching, we still need to play the song 'Old Comarades'. Because we need to play the song while marching, we need to memorise the whole song 'Old Comarades'. So, all the Secondary 1 had to memorise teh whole song within one day!!! Arh... It was so hard!!!! :'( But, I only managed to memorise only half of the song. After that, we found out that we don't need to play. Hiaxx... But, I still hope that I can still memorise the song. I think it is for the next year SYF. We also need to play the 'The Inn of the Sixth Happiness'. But , after that, we found out that we don't need to play nor march...
Anyway, we also need to perform for the Chinese New Year Celebration. Anyway, they are playing the new song which is the mixture of eight Chinese New Year songs. It is arranged by our conductor, Mr. Richard Png. The song is quite nice actually, but hard. Luckily, the Secondary 1 did not have to play. You must be curious why the Secondary 1 did not need to play the song. It is because that we need to play a skit of the story of the piece.
Let me tell you the story of the song. The story started at around the 1950 to 1960. Teh sarting of teh story is an old man standing at the window still looking at the Chinese New Year parade. Then, he started to think about the past. Then it started at his childhood. Then his buiness and then marriage. At last, ge came back to the old. He was sad because he did not know how much time he had left. Then, all his grandchildren went to find him and wish him longetity and good luck. Then, he was really happy.
Okay, that's all, BB!
Happy NewYear to Everyone!:D
