Hi there! It's me again! Today we had the investiture! We had the band investiture until 4 something. Then we arrange the stands and the chairs. We don't have enough chairs thus we went into the hall to borrow some chairs. :D At around 5 something, we started the investiture. I sat at the third row on the left, between Qian Xin and Maisie.
First, we had the giving out of the certificate for the Grade 3 Theory Test that we had gotten last year. I thought that I will fail the test. But when I had gotten it back, I had passed with merit! Yay! I had scored 82/100.
After that it is the giving out of the certificate to the Secondary 1. Then it is the giving out of the certificate of Secondary 2. I was wondering why my name wasn't call yet. My name was called the last to call for Secondary 2. I was promoted to Assistant Secretary and Lance Corporal. Yay! I was the only one in my level that is promoted to Assistant Secretary! Yay.Okay, that's all, BB!

Ways to adopt a healthy lifestyle
Many people will say that in today's modern world of fast-food restaurants, hectic schedules, and widespread illnesses, is it possible to lead a healthy lifestyle?
The answer would be yes. The key to adopting a healthy lifestyle is to determine where you are right now and where you want to go. So what do we do in order to have a healthy lifestyle?
Firstly, one must have a regular exercise program. We can adjust our daily routine if we are short of time. For example, we can take the stairs instead of taking the elevator.
Secondly, fast-food chains should be avoided. But it is okay if we take it once in a while. Eating well-balanced, nutritious meals that include fruits, vegetables and whole-wheat grains will not only keep your weight under control, but will help maintain a healthy immune system.
Thirdly, we need to get enough sleep everyday. If we found we waking up in the morning still felling tired, adjusting the amount of light and noise in your room at night can help us to sleep better. Even the minimal light that your alarm clock gives off can interfere with proper rest, so turn it around to face the other way.
Many people have the tendency to take water for granted. Most of the people know that we need to take at least eight glasses a day, but how many people follow that?
Drinking eight to ten glasses of water a day not only gives you the necessary hydration your body craves, but it can also help you lose weight, improve your concentration, and prevent serious diseases.
All of us brush our teeth twice a day right? But do you know that brushing and flossing not only prevent gum disease and tooth decay, but it can also make you a healthier person. The bacteria can breed in our mouth and can cause infection to other parts of the body. Also a fresh breath and a bright smile can build confidence and self-esteem.
Having started on the road to a healthier lifestyle, we will start to feel the benefits. We will be more active, we will be less susceptible to smaller illnesses and will recover from such more quickly. We will be happier, because doing what we are doing will have an effect upon our general morale.
作文 – 谈运动的重要
不管是老的,少的或中年的,我们都必须要有足够的活动和运动。 大家都一定要做一些运动,不论有多么的忙碌或多么没兴趣,运动的重要性是不可低估的。所以说,如果我们是生活在一的步伐非常快和工作忙碌的城市里,更应该停下脚步,休息,和保养。
不运动的后果可多了。我们不但会遇到各种各样的疾病,也会面对不少关于工作或家里的压力和困难。这些问题都会带来不少困扰。
首先,缺乏运动会增加我们患尚疾病的机会。例如心脏病以及数不清的癌症。这是因为如果不做运动来消除身体里过渡的营养,它们就会变成脂肪,导致肥胖。所以,要把这些问题消除掉就只能花一些时间做运动。
第二点,缺乏运动带来的肥胖问题会导致我们觉得很自卑,在工作上或朋友在一起时,都会觉得自己很蓝,对自己没有信心。
第三,如果不常运动,我们的身体最会比一般的人弱。这样,我们会更容易感染到疾病。特别是一些比较年老的人,更应该多运动,保养身子。因为年老了,身体会变得很弱,骨骼业也会渐渐的失去以前的灵活度。做做一些运动会把这个过程发展缓慢下来。让人们的垂暮之年过得更快乐和健康。
我想运动会有更多好处。比起缺乏它的问题,运动有数不清地好处。这些是一些我们天天会遇到的问题,和运动带来的方便。
在我们忙碌的生活中,都一定会面对很多压力。而运动能减轻我们的压力。因为在运动时,我们会全身专注,而不会去想生活上发生的问题。这也可以帮我们放松解压。
运动也能帮我们交更多的朋友。运动时,我们能够多了解彼此的性格,建立更好的交际关系,让我们更健康!
我觉得运动在我们生活中,是非常重要的。它能调剂我们的生活,放松解压。而且,运动的种类很多,让我们选择自己最喜爱的运动。

昨晚散步经过一小段丛林小路,抬头仰望,看见一颗星星,这次我决定再耐心努力看看,是否还有其他的星星,果然找到另外两颗。
再仔细的看,又多出两颗很微弱很微弱的星点。当我尽力用手阻挡来自周围的光线时,我感觉微弱的星点上面一定还有十多颗,甚至百多颗星星在快乐地闪烁着,只是可能被万家灯火遮蔽了。再走一小段路便到邻里购物中心,地铁站。在耀眼的街灯,红绿灯,车灯,商场的霓虹灯下, 星星顿然不见了,一颗也没有了!
尽管我垫起脚尖,尽管我用力仰望着天,还是没能再看见原本的真相!我的心,随着星星,在一片吵杂的叫嚷声中,在一片璀璨亮眼灯火中,
在一片看不见真相的都市里,被淹没了…

Hi there! It had been sometime since I had last post. Today I was almost late for school. First, I woke up at only 6.45am today. Even worse, both the bus 87 and 372 came late. After that it was Science lesson. Did all the filing. Then it was PE and the girls played captain ball while the boys played soccer. During Chinese lesson we just went through the words. Nothing really interesting happened though. :D
Today in D&T lesson, something did happened. I was trying to melt the two acrylic to a circular shape. I tried to melt the bigger acrylic which is yellow. It is actually look quite nice before melting. But before that I need to wait for quite a long time before it heats up to 250 degree Celsius. But when I melt the first piece and took it out, I had a big shock. It had so much Bubbles thing in and look ugly... Mr. Siaw said that he had not seen anything like this. It turned out that he had made a mistake in giving me. He gave me a yellow metallic acrylic rather than a yellow acrylic. But luckily the second one was okay. But I need to redo it and I must finish the whole product by next week. Wahh....
